About the Position

As the Director, Product Management (Provider Systems), you will own the vision, roadmap, and execution of our solutions for provider systems. Provider systems engage us to automate dozens of patient workflows, including requesting and scheduling appointments, preparing for visits (e.g. reminders, intake, check-in), and following up after visits (e.g. care plans, referrals, test results).

Specific Work will Include:

  • Define our product vision, strategy, and roadmap for serving provider systems
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to lead customer needs discovery, user research, market testing, and go-to-market approach
  • Engage with customers and prospects as a Lifelink Systems product subject matter expert
  • Equip Professional Services teams with tools and training to successfully launch our solutions for provider systems
  • Develop key metrics to guide decisions and measure success
  • Find creative ways to prototype solutions and validate hypotheses
  • Collaborate closely with customers, product marketing, engineering, design, professional services teams, and executive leadership
  • Own execution of new platform features: write user stories, prioritize a backlog, conduct acceptance testing, and manage releases
  • Recruit and mentor new product team members as the company grows
  • Help facilitate and improve agile team processes: project inceptions, iteration planning meetings, retrospectives, and daily standups
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for a team with a diversity of personalities and communication styles
  • Report directly to the VP of Product

Required Skills and Experience

  • 6+ years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, delivering successful software products/features from conception to maturity
  • Experience with customer discovery, user research, and hypothesis-driven design
  • Creativity and vision to find market opportunities and imagine novel solutions
  • An ability to spot implicit assumptions and ambiguities, distill underlying concerns from proposed solutions, decouple objectives, ask questions that elicit creativity, and ruthlessly prioritize
  • An ability to craft clear and concise language (e.g. for chatbot scripts)
  • An ability to understand technical discussions about architecture and implementation decisions
  • Experience with Agile and/or Lean methodologies
  • Undergraduate degree (preferably technical) or equivalent experience

Other Valuable Skills

  • Experience recruiting, mentoring, and managing other product managers
  • Prior experience in software engineering, design, or customer success
  • Prior experience with health care or conversational interfaces (i.e. chatbots)
  • Prior experience building software in highly regulated industries
